i just realize, they never tell us how old Edward is. the only game that mention his age is Alone in the Dark: Inferno when Edward said he was A 100 years old. and am not using Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare as evidence, because it's a reboot and dosen't follow the timeline of the original game from 1992.

According to the PS2/Wii version of Alone in the Dark '08, Edward was born in 1897. Making him 111 years old at the time of the game.
HOWEVER! The Secrets of the Shadow Hunter from the AITD: The New Nightmare Strategy Guide establishes within the game's timeline that there were 2 Carnbys before the main protagonist. According to the text, the first one, according to sources, was born between 1888 and 1899, who got "mixed up in several strange affairs in the years 1920 to 39". Which is a possible match for Edward in the original trilogy. Which would make 102-113 years old.
HOWEVER! (2x) According to the Official Strategy Guide for Alone in the Dark 1 and 2, a fictional biography points out that Edward was born in 1898, meaning he would be 112 years old.
(And I agree that TNN could be non-canon to the original trilogy and Inferno, since it was... y'know, completely forgotten afterwards)
