The tablets engraved the Abkanis are an important object that is retrieved by Aline Cedrac in Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare.

The tablets can be retrieved at a secret compartment hidden in a library in the Morton Mansion. They were discovered by Obed Morton on Shadow Island, and represent a priceless find of study on the Abkanis tribes, as well as to one of the first examples of written language historically reported.
