Alone in the Dark 3, also known as Alone in the Dark 3: Ghosts in Town is the third title launched in the series as a direct sequel to Alone in the Dark 2. It was first released for MS-DOS, and one year later, for PC-98, Windows 95 and Mac.

It was the last game of the original franchise, until the launch of Alone in the Dark.

Synopsis Edit

Edward Carnby receives a call from Greg Saunders, requesting him to search for a missing crew in a ghost town named Slaughter Gulch. When Carnby finds the city to be haunted, he intends to search deeper into the unknown, looking to rescue Emily Hartwood, who was part of the crew, while still figuring out the plans of former town leader Jed Stone, who seems to be holding her hostage, controlling and ordering evil beings around the town.

Gameplay Edit

Alone in the Dark 3 has the exact same gameplay as the first two games. But still more fluent and responsive, Reload action removed, faster and more responsive shooting/fighting and more puzzles than Alone in the Dark 2.
