The animated vines are two roots or vines that are a part of the hedges in the Hedge Maze in Hell's kitchen. They block the way to the statue area within the hedge maze and attack anyone that comes near them (such as Carnby).
Features[]
These are two thorn-covered branches that block the passage for the statue in the hedge maze of Hell's Kitchen . They can't move, but they fidget and hit, dealing 5 damage when they are too close. They are immune to almost all weapons.
Strategy[]
In a way, they functioned similar to the Ghost arms in the Elizabeth Jarret's Bedroom, where they were stationary, and were capable of harming the player if they got too close, and they could only be defeated by the use of a sword.
They could only be defeated by the Pirate Sword, which could be picked up when the Spectre in the Card Hatch Tunnel is defeated.
Trivia[]
- On the hedge of the labyrinth it is possible to see a face that appears in the leaves and then disappears. It is possible that it is a demonic evocation (given by Elisabeth Jarret's voodoo magic ) and that it controls the same thistles.
