Anna's Companion was an unnamed male character in Alone in the Dark (2008). He was a psychologist who worked in the building encountered early in the game.

Background[]

He is a somewhat arrogant and pragmatic middle-aged psychologist. He tries to keep control of the situation despite the disaster that is happening and seems that his greatest concern is the damage of the office. He seems to know Anna for quite a while but it is not clear whether the relationship between them is just professional or if they are sentimental. He is rather quick to find the solution to the problems that arise, but also reveals himself to be very materialistic.

Involvement[]

She found by Carnby after escaping from the fire escape of a burning apartment. She pleads with Carnby to help her friend, who was trapped behind a door and was too injured to knock it down.

After Carnby rescued him, both him and Anna followed and argued. When Carnby jumped over a gap in the floor, the ceiling caved in and blocked the way. He was later devoured by a fissure.

PS2/Wii version[]

In versions for PS2 and Wii, his role remains almost unchanged. However, he is separated by a collapse and he is not seen being devoured by a crack, his destiny remains unknown.
