Captain Nicholas was the former captain of the Flying Dutchman, before his ship was taken over by One-Eyed Jack's men.
Biography[]
Captain Nichols was the captain of the ship during Elisabeth's incarceration on his ship. In the flashback, he was standing on the top deck holding a key while Elisabeth was led down into the bowels of the ship.
With her abilities, Elisabeth could "see" that Nichols was hiding the duplicate key to the irons, which was in his desk.
