The Coat of Mail is a wearable item in Alone in the Dark 2.
Overview[]
The Coat of Mail serve as a protective vest against mostly bullet and can be found in Wine Cellar. It work just like in a similar fashion to its modern version, the Bullet-proof vest.
One can be found behind the barrel (along with the Bottle) and the other is dropped after defeating Shorty Leg on the Flying Dutchman. When worn, it grants the user, Edward Carnby, to be immune to a certain amount of gunshots.
