'''Crucible Room''' was a chamber undearneath the town, [[Slaughter Gulch]]. The most noteworthy aspect of the room was that there was a crucible with a small channel that is shaped like a skull.


It can be first glimpsed in a film that was left by Jed Stone to Edward Carnby, where he used the ore to put Emily in a trance whilst in that room. It also containing an oval shaped window out at the pen of the Spider mutant. 

In some scenarios of the game over screen, Carnby can be seen strung up under the over the skull incantation of the room, being whipped by [[Sheriff Dawson]] and Jed Stone laughing at the sight.
