The Customized Revolver is Edward Carnby's starting weapon in Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare.
Description[]
It is able to use some of the light producing ammo on the island in order to use the weapon to successfully combat against the creature on the island. It is a gun with two barrels and two revolving cylinders.
Carnby's revolver is superior compared to the one used by Aline Cedrac, possibly because his storyline is combat-based, while Aline's is mostly based on solving puzzles. The weapon can hold twice the number of bullets that Aline’s Revolver could, which is 12 bullets. It also fires two bullets at once.
Because of its customization, it was also able to be reloaded with 9mm magnesium bullets which can be found in boxes that can be found throughout Shadow Island.
