The key to the Ballroom is one of the keys that Edward Carnby or Emily Hartwood can pick up inside Derceto Manor in Alone in the Dark.

When the player enters the Drawing Room, they will encounter Ezechiel Pregzt as a pirate ghoul. Upon defeat, he leaves behind the key to the Ballroom.
