Personality and Traits[]

Living with grief and loneliness, Emily seems to be struggling mentally trying to move on from her loss, carrying feelings of frustration and sadness from her inability to express her true feelings to other people and, at the same time, their lack of empathy with constant inquiries on "why she is so sad all the time".

Appearance & Gameplay[]

Emily has dirty blond hair with a bun, and wears a dark yellow jacket with a white shirt underneath and a dark green skirt with long brown leather boots, appearing to be in her late 30's. Her face shows some aging with soft wrinkles and bags under her eyes, probably due to her depression caused by grief.

Trivia[]

  • When arriving at Derceto, during the final cutscene of the Alone in the Dark Prologue, Emily mentions a dream she had in which her uncle hung himself in the attic, in a different place that is also called Derceto. This dream is the synopsis of the original 1992 game.
  • Just like the one from the 1992 game, Emily sprints slightly faster than Carnby.
