Howard Hartwood is a character mentioned in Alone in the Dark (1992). He is also the father of Jeremy Hartwood and grandfather of Emily Hartwood.
Background[]
In 1875, Howard Hartwood bought and repaired Derceto, after it was almost burned down in a fire. Being fascinated for piracy, he was deeply interested in the previous owner of the mansion, who was believed to have plundered and looted.
Involvement[]
He is the father of Jeremy and he rebuilt the Derceto mansion. He choked on his own blood and died when he bit through his own tongue.
