The lab key is one of the keys Aline Cedrac recovers in Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare.

It is a big key machined and rusty Aline that can be found in one of the crates blocked by chains in the Fort (openable only with the clipper?), together with a Steel Ingot. It allows the girl to enter the Jeremy Morton's Laboratory, through a door on the upper floors of the fort.
