The Microscope glass plate was an item in Alone in the Dark 3. It was contained in a China Piggy-bank inside an elevator inside the Mojave desert mountain. The piggy bank had to be tossed in order to obtain the glass plate. it can be used on the microscope withi the entryway of the lab in order to solve the color combinations to enter it.
