The Morton Gang are a criminal mob operating in New Orleans, under the leadership of Obed Morton. They appear as a minor antagonistic group in Alone in the Dark (2024).

Background[]
The Morton Gang likely operates in the gambling and loan sharking businesses, which led to Private Investigator Edward Carnby earning a big debt. This debt would eventually bring him a heap of trouble, when Obed Morton's goons Frank and Mosely had a run-in with Carnby, while he was in the middle of a case, that turned into a car chase. They were eventually shaken off by Carnby.
Events of Alone in the Dark (2024)[]
On July 23rd 1930, Obed Morton went looking for Carnby to receive his money and eventually got to Gloria Allen, a local antiques store owner, who told Edward Carnby "got a job in the loony bin", which would be his case in Derceto. Obed then sent a telegram asking him for the money and to meet in the Maccabean to get it.
