The Photo of the Statue is an item in Alone in the Dark 2 and an interactive object in Alone in the Dark 3.
Overview[]
The photograph shows One-Eyed Jack alongside Elisabeth Jarret, Shorty Leg, T-Bone and two pirate gangsters in front of his statue. The photo appears to have been ripped in half and then taped back together.
Alone in the Dark 2[]
The photo shows that one of the statue's hands are in a different position than at the time Edward Carnby reaches it, and that there is a secret door. Therefore being a tip about the use of the hook and rope.
It is found after being dropped by the first Pirate Gangster encountered in the Hedge Maze of Hell's Kitchen. At first it's named just as "A Photo", but after viewing it once it change to "Photo of the Statue."
Alone in the Dark 3[]
The photo can be seen nailed to the wall next to other pictures inside the Photo Lab in the Saloon. When Carnby looks at it, he recognizes the picture and comments "I know I've seen that somewhere!"
It is not revealed how the picture found its way to Slaughter Gulch. It could be connected to the Ace of Diamonds and the message from One Eyed Jack found in the graveyard.
