The Sacrificial Ritual is an ancient tome that Edward Carnby recovers in Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare.

The book, located on a lectern in the ancient chapel on Shadow Island, contains the description of a ritual to summon an entity or demon called Gaar Elan . Presumably this is one of the ceremonies that Richard Morton and Judas De Certo performed using young girls kidnapped from the slums of Boston as sacrificial victims, however it could refer to rituals dating back to the 17th century when human sacrifices were practiced in the chapel.
