Background[]
The Saloon used to be a social establishment in Slaughter Gulch. As shown in the ballad about the town, the Saloon used to be a place always filled with people, surrounded by stories of the local folk and a legend of the bull's horn, which no one has ever turned and lived to tell the story.
Events of Alone in the Dark 3[]
The gas can, found on the porch, can be used on the projector in the middle of the barroom to watch a shooting of The Last Ranger, revealing what happened to the film crew. The place is filled with objects necessary to advance in the game that can be picked up on the tables, closet and cupboard.
Carnby is attacked by a gunslinger and the bartender, after opening a secret doorway to the Cellar that holds a secret passage.
Layout[]
Outside, the saloon appears completely destroyed and taken by the elements, filled with cobwebs and dust. The gear from the Hill Century crew is seen left inside the water trough. On the ground floor, the barroom is filled with dust, cobwebs and broken furniture, with a big stage surrounded by three tables and a movie projector, with a big piano by the side.
Upstairs is the Hotel, containing 5 rooms. It is inaccessible due to the broken stairs. Behind the bar, there is a doorway to the cellar.
