The Shotgun is a recurring weapon featured in the Alone in the Dark series. It appears in all three games in the 90's trilogy and in Alone in the Dark (2024).

Alone in the Dark: Illumination[]
In the game files, the shotgun is listed as a Gabriella Saunders exclusive, presumably removed due to time constraints. The model for the weapon is still visible in ammo lockers, and the icon for it is visible in Gabriella's inventory in the pre-Summer 2016 Update build, although it still lists the sawn-off shotgun.
