The Small golden key is a key of the Morton house which is recovered by Aline Cedrac in Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare.

The small key will be given to Aline by Lucy Morton during their first meeting. It's purpose was to open the pedestal of a Indian statue in the Smoking Room on the first floor, from which she can recover the revolver.
