Snakes are creatures that infest in Alone in the Dark 2.

These are some snakes found in the Snake Room adjacent to Grace's Bedroom. They cannot be fought and a single bite of them will cause Carnby to die.

It is necessary to stay away from snakes since one bite of them will be enough to kill Carnby. To get rid of it Carbby have to take advantage of the clown puppet: by launching the Pompon in the room with the snakes they will begin to rage on the puppet, which will enter following the ball, until it kills it. Later they will be indifferent to Carnby's presence.
