The plot part might be taken from the booklet that came with the game originally. I remember seeing a fake newspaper story about Derceto's events. LotBlind (talk) 13:39, December 6, 2015 (UTC)
When the game is set[]
This article and a few others on the website make reference to the first game being set in 1923, but this is not possible: the notebook-cum-diary of Jeremy Hartwood found in "Guest Room #1" begins on 27th September 1924, and finishes on 31st March 1925 (seemingly very shortly before his suicide).
It makes sense therefore to think that this first game is set in the spring of 1925. However, the opening scenes of the second game begin on 22nd December 1924!
Basically, it's all a little muddled, and I'm confused :P

There's a link to the room pics folder with pictures extracted from the game's files on the landing page of the wiki and I don't know where else. That link goes to my Google Drive.
