The Cookies are minor antagonists in Alone in the Dark 2. They are a duo of twin cooks under the command of their supervisor, T-Bone.

Background

During T-Bone's travelling in China, he meets and befriends the Cookies at Yen T'ai, who were experts in sushi. Both of the little cooks are fond of gold. After an explosive evasion from the Macao penal colony, T-Bone and the Cookies were hired by One-Eyed Jack. He became the new cook after the previous cook, One-Arm, displeased One-Eyed Jack. It was said that T-Bone had a hand in putting the blame on him. With the execution of the previous cook, T-Bone becomes the head chef with the assistance of the little cooks.

Involvement

They are T-bone's assistants. Carnby only first encounters only one of the two who is wandering around the Ground Foyer. The second encounter is in the Flying Dutchman, both of them are found in the same room, Galley.

Strategy

The first encounter with one of the Cookies takes place on the ground floor of Hell's Kitchen. No damage can be done to him and, if he tries to attack him or if he doesn't wear the Santa Claus costume, he will call out the zombie gangsters on guard, who will be able to kill the investigator with a single bullet. It is not necessary to get rid of them as the cook assistant will never attack Carnby, however their presence can be exploited to disarm the statue in the room. By being chased by his trident, who kills with a single blow, you can use Cookies as a shield to be able to take the crown of the statue without problems.

The second fight is in the Flying Dutchman's galley. The two assistant cooks will be barricaded inside and you have to shake the Pouch of Gold Coins to induce them to open the door. At that point you can attack and defeat them easily with the Pirate Sword since their short stature will prevent them from hitting until they are extremely close to Carnby.

Trivia

• The Santa Claus Suit only affects them and T-Bone.
• In the versions for PlayStation and Sega one of the two Cookies will have the appearance of a normal human being, with a fair complexion instead of green.
