The Thompson (also known as the Tommy Gun) is a weapon featured in the Alone in the Dark series, appearing in Alone in the Dark 2 and Alone in the Dark (2024).
Alone in the Dark 2[]
Overview[]
The Thompson can be picked up after defeating the first Pirate Gangster by the front gate. The weapon is fed with loading clips with 30 bullets each.
After falling in the underground tunnel below the hedge maze statue, the weapon is lost along with most items in the inventory. Carnby can obtain another Thompson in the dormitory, however it will eventually jam after defeating Black Hat up the stairs. A third Thompson can be picked up from a chest on the attic.
A Thompson can be acquired inside the Flying Dutchman, but it is useless as the pirates can only be killed by the weapons from their time such as the pirate sword and the pirate pistol.
Locations[]
- Guard House (dropped by Pirate Gangster)
- Dormitory (may get jammed)
- White Room
- Parrot Room (dropped by Pirate)
Alone in the Dark (2024)[]
Overview[]
The Tommy Gun can be acquired by Detective Carnby and Emily Hartwood inside the main office in the Pregzt Shipping Company warehouse. It is only available in this location and not given to the player, therefore it can be missed. The weapon comes as a clip loaded variant, with a maximum capacity of 20 rounds.
Trivia[]
