The trident statue is an animated statue that haunts Hell's Kitchen in Alone in the Dark 2.
Overview[]
It is a bust with only the right arm, armed with a trident that will launch against Carnby if he passes in front of him and will chase him even if he has to change rooms, killing him instantly if he reaches him. It is more like a "trap" that a real enemy, however, is in possession of the Crown needed to take the Amulet of Elisabeth Jarret in her room.
Strategy[]
Initially it is necessary to pass grazing to the door next to the kitchen to be able to evade the statue with the trident, if he throws it against Carnby he will chase him until he is killed. It is possible to take the crown by walking along the wall avoiding to enter the trident's trajectory, however it can be used to make it hit another target.
It is possible to be chased by the trident into the kitchen in order to have T-Bone killed, however it is more practical (and simpler) to make him hit one of the Cookies. In fact, one of them will continue to move between the ground floor and the first floor and will call the guards only if Carnby attacks him directly. The ideal is to stay close to the kitchen door and wait for the cook to come closer, then run outside to make the statue throw the trident and finally step back to hit the Cookies.
