The Underground Spectre is a pirate formed shadow only located inside one of the underground tunnels inside the Hedge Maze of the Hell's Kitchen estate. It only appears once in Alone in the Dark 2.
Overview[]
This enemy appears when Carnby triggers a secret lock in the underground cavern, the creature will appear from the other side of the room armed with a pirate sword and head towards Carnby. When defeated, it drops a rusty Pirate Sword for Carnby to pick up.
Strategy[]
If the player walks up to the creature, Carnby won't stand a chance, and the creature can have him stun locked. The best way to defeat it is to keep your distance and open fire with your Revolver or the Thompson.
Trivia[]
- It is unknown if it was an actual member of Flying Dutchman, or even some sort of enchantment created by Jarret.
